Louis M. Robles, 100, of Elkton, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 at Scheurer Health in Pigeon.

Louis was born March 25, 1924 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Frances (Rodriguez) Robles.  He served in the US Army in World War II.  He married Geraldine Mattice on June 19, 1946; she preceded him in death on June 21, 2004.

Louis retired from Active Industries as a foreman.  He was a member of Community Wesleyan Church and Elkton VFW.  He loved sports, especially bowling, music, playing guitar, gardening and spending time with his family.

Louis is survived by his children: Louis P. of Elkton, Alex (Sherry) of Cass City, Frank (Tanya) of Bay City, and Linda (Ken) Partlo of Akron; son-in-law Wendel (Michelle) Walsh of Bad Axe; daughter-in-law Mary of Columbiaville; grandchildren and their spouses Sannette, Rosanna, Danielle, Donna, Teresa, Billie Jo, Bobbi Jo, Theodore, Alex, Shayna, Frank Jr., Isabell, Crystal, Cassandra, Jeffrey, Robert, and Jessica; 48 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren; brothers Alex (Bertha) and Frank (Kathy); and sister Emma Nielsen.  He was preceded in death by his daughter infant Dorothy and daughter Frances Walsh, and son Theodore.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, February 15th at Community Wesleyan Church in Elkton with Rev. Ean Green officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2-8 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Community Wesleyan Church.
