Louise Sayers, age 82, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Louise was born April 26, 1927 in Johannesburg, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frank & Sophie (Malak) Kosiara. She was united in marriage with Leland Sayers on April 23, 1949 in Gaylord, and the couple has cherished more than sixty years together. Louise was an active part of the family farm that she and Leland owned, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. She loved to watch the deer out her window as well as gardening, and would share her well known strawberries with friends and neighbors. Louise is survived by her husband, Leland Sayers of Caro; three children and their spouses, Peter & Norma Sayers of Caro, Lottie & James Nichols of Clio, Albert & Karen Sayers of Caro; ten grandchildren, Michael & Diana Sayers of Bay City, Julie Sayers of Belleville, Christopher Nichols of Akron, Marie & Michael Vanderkuur of Swartz Creek, Susan & David Brunori of Milford, Cathy Nichols of Clio, Steven & Natasha Nichols of Clio, Carrie Sayers of Grand Rapids, Enoch Sayers of Caro, Lesa Sayers of Grand Rapids; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters and their spouses, Stella & John Mankowski of Mt. Morris, Dorothy & Ernie Borwiak of Gaylord and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by one brother, Goerge Kosiara.
