Loyd Petiprin

Loyd J. Petiprin, age 87 years, of Caro, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Caro Community Hospital. He was born on December 17, 1919 at Caro, to the late Loyd and May (Ames) Petiprin. He was a graduate of Caro High School. He farmed for several years before going to work at Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring in 1986. He thoroughly enjoyed deer hunting, and also liked fishing, stone polishing and watching football. He was a Past Master of the Northern Star Lodge #277 F&AM, Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Caro Chapter #96 Royal Arch Masons. He was dearly loved by all of his family and will be greatly missed. He is survived by one son and one daughter, Barbara Gene Petiprin of Flint, and Michael Ross (Mary Alice nee Peterson) Petiprin of Lapeer; one brother, Morris Ames (Helen nee Timko) Petiprin of Caro; his grandchildren, Richard Loyd Sprung, Michele Andre Sprung and her fianc
