Lucille M. Hahn

Lucille M. Hahn age 92, of Elkton formerly of Unionville died Thursday evening, June 16, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon.

She was born July 21, 1918 in Coleman to the late Lewis and Helena (Edler) Mitchell.
On March 21, 1937, she was united in marriage to Max Hahn at the Linkville Lutheran parsonage. Max preceded her in death in January of 1990.

Lucille lived and farmed with her husband in the Unionville/Sebewaing area; she also managed Schwanbeck’s Dairy Bar for 10 years, and then operated her own restaurant in Unionville for 15 years.
She was a member of the Unionville Moravian Church and enjoyed doing word search puzzles, playing the harmonica, yodeling and an avid watcher of baseball and golf. In 2008, she moved to her daughter’s home near Elkton for health reasons.
Surviving are her daughter, Luci (Bud) Posade; daughter-in-law, Diane Hahn of Unionville; seven grandchildren, Lisa (Kevin) Ziel, Rhonda (John) Elenbaum, Tracey, (Mike) Betteridge, Mark Posade, Leslie Hahn, Eric Hahn and Lea (Vidar) Willesvik; seven great grandchildren, Ashley, Caleigh and Sydney Rasmussen, Ryan (Angela), Aaron, Troy (Jennifer) and Nathan Elenbaum; four great great grandchildren, Kyra and Tori Betteridge, Josefine and Karsten Willesvik; a special friend, Miles Ramsdill; neighbors, Bill and Lynette Eremia and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ron; three brothers, Elmer, Lloyd and Harrison Mitchell and a sister, Viola Jarvis.

A private graveside service will be conducted Monday at the Moravian Cemetery, Unionville.
