Lucille B. Lupton, age 94, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility following a lingering illness. Lucille was born August 10, 1912 in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of the late John & Cynthia Ann (Cormack) Williams. She was married to Don E. Lupton on May 18, 1930 in Perrysburg, OH. Don preceded her in death on October 22, 2000. Lucille was employed as a cook at the Akron-Fairgrove Schools and Caro Community Hospital for many years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church, a Life Member of the Kedron Chapter #33, O.E.S., a former member of the Westminster Church Circle and Cub Scout Leader. Lucille dearly loved her children and grandchildren, cooking for the family, traveling, camping and the family gatherings at their cabin on the Au Sable River Lucille is survived by four sons and their spouses, Robert D. Lupton of Caro, Melvin “Bill” & Grace Lupton of Bay City, Norman & Shirley Lupton of Caro, Ural & Joy Lupton of Fairgrove; eight grandchildren & their spouses, Melvin & Cheryl Lupton, Lynette & Gregory Sampson, Timothy Lupton, Shawn Lupton, Michael Lupton, Carrie Ann & Eric Jameson, Kevin & Amy Lupton, Brian & Jacqueline Lupton; ten great grandchildren, Kayla, Jenay, Cambray, Kimberly, Kendra, Madison, Kendall, Alexia, Jayden and Brendan. Besides her parents, and husband, a daughter, Judy Ann died at birth. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, Alva, Walter, Ural and Nadine. The family wishes to thank the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility staff for the compassionate and loving care given to their mother.
