Lucille Georgette Repke

Lucille G. Repke, 92, of Caseville, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at home under hospice care.

Lucy was born May 10, 1932 in Detroit to the late Victor and Yvonne (Cousineau) Gleeson.  In 1950 she graduated from St. Gregory High School and then received her nursing degree from Providence Nursing School in 1953.  She married Wilbert Repke on June 23, 1956 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Detroit; he preceded her in death on June 20, 2020.

Lucy retired from the American Red Cross as a Registered Nurse working with the Bloodmobile.  After retiring in 1994 she moved to Caseville where her family had a cottage since 1963.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Caseville Eagles Auxiliary and former member of Scenic Golf Course.  She enjoyed golfing, playing Euchre and reading.

Lucy is survived by her children Dale (Beverly), Cheryl (John) Blanchfield, James, Dennis (Patty), and John; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; brother Roger Gleeson and sister Rita (Bob) Goodrow. She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Gleeson, and grandchildren Larry Alexander and Nicole Cowsert.

Funeral mass will be 11:00am Saturday, March 22nd at St. Roch Catholic Church with Fr. George Amos presiding.  Visitation will be 2-7 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon.

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
