Lucinda Marie Peterson

Lucinda M. “Cindy” Peterson, 75, of Caseville, formerly of Millington, died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Cindy was born February 28, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Russell and Dorothy (Kane) Fletcher.  She married Robert Peterson October 2, 1965 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant.

Cindy worked as an LPN for Doctors Chapin, Vu and Pohani in Millington.  She moved from Millington to Sand Point in 2000.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.  She was a competitive cribbage player, huge supporter of Millington youth and sports and devoted to her canine family, especially her dog Jake.

She is survived by her husband Robert; children Eric (Penny) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Nanette (Jason) Beagle of Sebewaing and Amy (Derek) Richards of Frankenmuth; grandchildren Conner, Taylor, Sam, Kate, Rex and Brooke; and brother Thomas (Mary) Fletcher of Mt. Pleasant.  She was preceded in death by her brother Kane and sister Kay.

Funeral services will be 7:00pm Wednesday, August 8 ^th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton with Rev. Robert Pare officiating.  Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Wednesday and continue until the service time at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Millington Community Center or Millington Historical Society
