Luke Jeremiah Wilson

Luke Jeremiah Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Caro, age 44, passed away at his home on Friday, March 4, 2022. Luke was born July 24, 1977, in Caro, the son of Dorothea (Schwab) Wilson and the late James A. Wilson, Sr. He was a graduate of Caro High School and began a career shortly after with the Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center in Caro where he focused on behavior management and marketing. Luke's presence commanded the attention of anyone in the room, with a demeanor that was enveloping, and a charisma that made everyone feel like they belonged. His laugh was disarmingly infectious, his attitude was rebellious, and his heart was generous. He possessed a deep faith in the Lord, and was a founding member of the Life Church in Saginaw. Luke loved deeply; he defended family and friends fiercely. He had a close relationship with his nieces and nephews and was a proud member of the family's "Fearsome Four" - Terri, Gary, Laura, and Luke. He will be remembered as a devout family man that adored his children and grandchildren above all else. Cherishing his memory are two children, Luke Jeremiah Wilson, Jr. of Caro, Aubrie Faith Wilson of Flushing; two grandchildren, Elora Bedellion, Emmett Ragland; his mother, Dorothea Wilson of Caro; five siblings and their spouses, Vicky & Kevin Phelps of Lexington, Kentucky, Yvonne Wagner of Canton, Keith & Terri Wilson of Caro, Mark Wilson of Traverse City, Michael Wilson of Essexville; sister-in-law, Mandy Wilson of Caro; the mother of his children, Jamie Nowlen of Caro; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Caro First Baptist Church with Revs. Marc Herron and Dan Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow later in the day at Almer Township Cemetery in Caro.
