Lyle R. Gettel
Lyle R. Gettel, formerly of Bay Port, passed away December 6, 2010 in Greeneville, TN. Lyle was born April 16, 1931 to the late George & Ethel (Osborne) Gettel. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He married Burma (Harder) January 18, 1964 at The United Methodist Church in Pigeon.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Burma (Harder) of Sebewaing; children, Bryan (Margaret) Gettel of Greeneville, TN & Roxanne (Gettel) Scharf of Sebewaing; grandchildren, Stephanie & Richelle Scharf of Sebewaing; brothers, Aaron (May) Gettel & Roger (Velma) Gettel; & sister-in-law, Sarah Gettel.
Lyle is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Keith & Kenneth Gettel and 1 son-in-law, Eugene Scharf.
Visitation Friday, December 10, 2010 from 3-9pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.
Funeral Saturday 11am at the Funeral Home.
