Lynn Marie Brenner Hahn, age 75, of Sebewaing passed quietly away in the early morning hours of December 12, 2019. She is finally still.
With the final stitch of the last quilt, the fruit cake baked, and the candy prepared she completed the things she always did to make Christmas special for her family and friends. She was passionate about so many things. Mushroom hunting, sewing, baking, canning- whatever task she undertook she did so with passion and zest.
She was her own woman- in a world of "Mary's" she was always a "Martha". Her reputation for helping others is only a small part of all that she did with her life. A visitor to her home could expect to be fed and given a bag full of her goodies to be sent along with you as you parted her company.
Her proudest accomplishment by far were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren Her branch of the family tree will continue on- with each new addition loved completely and unconditionally. We are her legacy, good or bad.
Lynn was born January 16, 1944 to Walter and Vivian (Kain). She married Larry Hahn in June of 1961 and again in March of 1978. They proceeded her in death.
Lynn is survived by her children: Craig (Roberta) Hahn of Painesville, OH, Audrey (Philip) Shaver of Freeland, Connie (Fredrick) Engelhardt of Sebewaing, and Tim Hahn of Sebewaing; 8 grandchildren: James (special friend Heather) Hahn, Victoria (Ryan) Parker, Steven (Emily) Hahn, David (Rheanna) Rocha, Amanda (Scott) Weisenbach, Lyndsay (Joshua) Parker, Allison Engelhardt and Hannah Hahn; and 17 great grandchildren. Lynn will be missed dearly by her loving Meijer family and special friend, Marsha Lewandowski.
A memorial visitation will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 6-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Visitation from 10am until the time of service at 1pm.
Memorial donations may be given to the Caring and Sharing program in Sebewaing or the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission in Bay City.
