Magdalene Florek

Magdalene (Kazmierczak) Florek of Caro, age 70, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at her home, following a brief battle with cancer. She was born March 29, 1945 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Lesniak) Kazmierczak. Magdalene had been a self-employed home health care provider, and was enjoying retired life. She also liked knitting, crocheting, her outdoor herd of cats, feeding wildlife and playing solitaire. Magdalene is survived by one son, Stephen Florek; one daughter, Catherine Florek; three grandchildren, Joseph Florek, Brandon Scadden and Amanda McManamay; and one great-grandson, Bentley O'Brien; two brothers, Charles Kazmierczak and John & Carol Kazmierczak. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Casmier and Jerry Kazmierczak; and one sister, Maryann Gregory.
