Marcia K. Schuette

Marcia Kay Schuette, 67, of Pigeon, passed away suddenly Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Saginaw.

Marcia was born August 11, 1957 in Pigeon to the late Leroy and Marjorie (Burger) Gnagey of Bay Port.  Marcia enjoyed helping on the family farm, especially bottle-feeding calves.  She attended Bay Port Elementary, Pigeon Junior High and Laker High School.

On September 8, 2007 she married Chris Schuette at Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon.  Together they lovingly restored their home on Maxwell Road.  Marcia was known for her excellent taste, wonderful eye for spotting treasures and extraordinary knowledge of antiques.  For many years she ran a successful eBay store and while her items traveled across the country, Marcia herself preferred to stay firmly rooted in Huron County, surrounded by her family, friends, and adored animals.  No stray was ever turned away and she nursed many a lost cause back to health.  She will be missed by many, but especially by her constant companion, Juju.

Marcia is survived by her husband Chris; daughter Tonie (Bill) Harcourt of Bay Port; grandchildren Brady (Katelynn) Harcourt of Edmore, Taylor (Nathanael) Courter of Caro, and Dylan Harcourt of Bay Port; sister Carolyn (Scott) Harder of Pigeon and brother Alvin (Terese) Gnagey of Bay Port.  She was preceded in death by her brother Larry Gnagey.

Funeral services will be at Noon, Tuesday, March 11th at Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am and continue until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thumb Animal Shelter in her memory.
