Margaret O. Cunningham

Margaret O. Cunningham age 95, of Elkton died Tuesday morning, September 29, at Courtney Manor, Bad Axe.
She was born September 1, 1914, in Ecorse to the late Gabriel and Olive (Stiffes) Montie.
On September 8, 1934, she was united in marriage to Cosmas Cunningham in Ecorse and lived in the Detroit area all her married life. He preceded her in death October 30, 1950.
Mrs. Cunningham managed the lunch room program for the Detroit Public Schools until her retirement in 1979. She moved to Elkton several years ago to be near her son. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with family and friends and will always be remember for her perpetual smile.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald Cunningham of Elkton and Kenneth (Marlene) Cunningham of Macomb; her daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Ghedotti of Canton; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her daughter-in-law, Shirley Cunningham; grandson, Ronald Cunningham and her brothers, Edward and Robert Montie and her sister, Mary Jane Koss.
There will be no local visitation or services, a memorial service will be conducted in Detroit at a later date with burial in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Detroit.
