Margaret Rose Finkbeiner

Margaret Rose Finkbeiner (Leiterman), age 95; born March 19, 1921, in Gagetown, MI. Daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Keller) Leiterman Sr. Passed peacefully, March 28, 2016, in Novi, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Everett F. Finkbeiner, June 12, 1944, for 69 years, at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, word search puzzles, reading newspaper comics, dressing up for special occasions, and had a great sense of humor.

Surviving are her son's: David L.(Judy) of Portland & Everett J. (Debra) Finkbeiner, of Wixom. Grandchildren: Christopher, David, & Matthew Vowell, Tammi Rinnert & Debbie McClorey; Jackie, Joyce, Jeanne, Jimmy and numerous great & great-great grandchildren. A sister-in-law Evelynn (Finkbeiner) Goslin, sisters: Anna Kothe, Katherine Avery, Lillian Retzler, & a brother, John Leiterman. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Everett F. Finkbeiner, son, Gerald Finkbeiner, parents, Peter & Anna Leiterman. Sister's: Rose Kunst, Elizabeth Leiterman, Emma Mittz, Marion Hamlin, Esther & Francis Leiterman, a brother, Peter Leiterman Jr. and grandson, Billy McClorey.

Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, from 2-6pm.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 2, 2016, at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Agatha Catholic Cemetery Fund.
