Margaret R. Fritz

Margaret R. Fritz, age 84, of Meade Twp., went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, December 15, at her home with her husband by her side.
She was born March 23, 1925 at the home of her parents, the late John and Sophie (Young) Bambach in Meade Twp.
On May 18, 1946, she was united in marriage to Matthew H. Fritz at St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog and lived in Meade Twp. all of her life.
She was a life long member of St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog.
Margaret enjoyed baking, canning, playing cards, but most of all she loved being in her garden taking care of her flowers. She was known to have the most beautiful flowers around.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Matt; two daughters, Joan McPhail of Owendale and Jean Logue of Caro; grandchildren, Michelle (Andrew) O'Hern of Portage, James Grannell of Pigeon, Shawn Grannell of Ann Arbor, Kelly Grannell of Caro and Michelle Logue of Caro; great grandchildren, Lauren and Christopher O'Hern and John Shawn McAlloon; sister, Edna McGee of Bad Axe; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Bambach and Mary Bambach of Bad Axe, Margaret Bambach of Filion, Eleanor Bambach of Adrian and Joanne Bambach of Detroit and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death were her son-in-law, Robert McPhail; brothers, Joe, John, Nick, Steve, Peter, Mike and Maxi Bambach and sisters, Leah Bambach, Anna Kaatz, Helen Binder, Susan Baro, Sophia Fiebig and Marie McClellan.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, December 18, at St. Felix Catholic. Rev Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 9 PM Thursday and at the church after 10 AM Friday.
Memorials may be given to family choice.
