Margaret Robinson

Margaret Robinson, age 101, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, following a lingering illness. Margaret was born January 26, 1910 in Flint, the daughter of the late Judson & Ida (Prichard) Baer. She was united in marriage with J. Lynn Robinson on October 13, 1935 in Flint, and the couple cherished more than seventy years together before his death in 2006. Margaret worked throughout her life in several occupations, including social services at the Tuscola County Courthouse, as a secretary for General Cable in Cass City, and as an executive secretary for Walbro in Cass City. She was also a member of Sutton-Sunshine United Methodist Church. Margaret is survived by one son, John L. Robinson of Caro; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Elaine Westfall earlier this year; two brothers, Ted and Buster Baer.
