Margaret Elaine Tetil

Margaret Elaine Tetil of Unionville, age 86, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Amazing Love Adult Foster Care Home in Caro. Margaret was born December 27, 1926 in Alma, the daughter of Glen and Dora (Pretzer) Hitsman. Margaret was united in marriage with Max Tetil on October 27, 1951 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro. Margaret's joy in life was taking care of her family, visiting, and loved to make others laugh. During her adult life, Margaret worked as a hairdresser and as a cook at Caro Community Hospital. Margaret is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Max Tetil of Unionville; three children and their spouses, Melissa & Michael Bublitz of Chesaning, Michael Tetil of Fairgrove, and Miles & Donna Tetil of Reese; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Mark Tetil; grandson, Wade Tetil; and sister, Dorothy Hitsman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6356 Center Street, Unionville with Rev. Michael Boyer officiating. Burial will follow at Demorest Cemetery in Akron. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Unionville in memory of Margaret.
