Margaret Ann Vanhoost

Margaret VanHoost, age 74, of Unionville, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, went to her heavenly home on Friday, June 8, 2018.

Margaret was born in Sebewaing on June 27, 1943, to the late Gerhart and Mildred (Errer) Baur. Margaret graduated from Sebewaing High School in 1961. She went on to have a long career with Citizens Bank, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the Friend Farmers Farm Bureau Group, Community Choir, and the founder of the Unionville Farmers Market.

Surviving and left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry VanHoost; children: Sherri (Gary) Smith, Rodney Nimtz, Rocal VanHoost, Jodie (Bill) DuRussel and Scott (Carey) Cianek; grandchildren: Katie (Harun) Kigera and Kris Breitenborn, Rachel Nimtz, Ellie and Tyler DuRussel, Scott, Jr. and Chelsea Cianek; great grandchildren: Noah, Addyson and Liam; brothers and Sisters: Ron Rasmussen, Marlene Graham and Patricia Turner.

A service of remembrance will be held at the Sebewaing American Legion, Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 12noon.

The family would like to extend our thanks to Margaret's caregivers: Cyndee, Linda and Carol.
