Margaret G. Vaughan, age 86, of Caro passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. She was born on February 10, 1922 in Caro, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Vella) Juhasz and was a lifelong resident of Caro. On March 26, 1942 the former Margaret Juhasz married Leland (Lee) Vaughan in Caro. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1995. Margaret was a Caro High School graduate and worked as an attendant nurse at the Caro Regional Center until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, polka music, watching hummingbirds, visiting lighthouses, photography and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She was a member of the Methodist faith. She is survived by four daughters and one son, Jean (Gary) Le Valley of Caro, Linda Vaughan of Caro, Diane Vaughan of Clifford, Faye (Tim) Sheperd of Paisley, Florida, Richard (Catherine) Vaughan of Caro; one daughter-in-law, Sheri Vaughan of Caro; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; her siblings, Andy (Blanche) Juhasz of Caro and Betty Lou (Ed) Bartz of Royal Oak; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Vaughan; and one granddaughter, Jane David. The funeral will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Patrick Robbins officiating. Burial will be at Almer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.
