Margaret Wright

Margaret Wright, age 88, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, Friday, November 10, 2006 at her home, following a lingering illness. Margaret was born October 4, 1918 in Fairgrove, the daughter of the late Daniel Edna (Jennings) Montgomery and was a lifelong Tuscola County resident. Margaret was married to Romie Shaver on November 15, 1935 in Fairgrove. She later was married to Claude C. Wright on November 12, 1944 in Caro. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1970. Margaret had attended the Caro United Methodist Church and was a member of the Mary Circle. She was also a Life Member of the Kedron Chapter #33, O.E.S., a former Leader in 4-H, crafter and collector of many items that interested her. Margaret is survived by her six children and their spouses, Larry Carol Shaver of Highland, MI, Raymond Ethel Shaver, Shelby Larson, Cathy John Cabala, Donna Reitz all of Caro, Calvin Wright of Kincheloe, MI; sixteen grandchildren, Michelle Adams, Nicole Harvey, Rachel (Russ) Putnam, Kari (Eddie) Schwartz, Kris Larson, Eric Larson, Nels (Cathleen) Larson, Jana (Tad) Vandemark, Lona (Joshua) Wright, Kevin (Kristi) Wright, Marcie (Mitch) Foley, Angela (Christian) Sanich, Shawn Reitz, Andrea (Dave) Eriksson, Matthew (Melanie) Wright, Sarah Wright; fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husbands, Margaret was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Dorothy Rock, Martha Embry, Maretta Fletcher, Emory, Leslie and John Montgomery.
