Margie Ann Maxwell

Margie Ann Maxwell, 79, of Elkton passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at home under hospice care.

Margie was born at home in Elkton on January 7, 1942 to the late Leonard and Leona (Ewald) Fritz. She graduated from Elkton High School in 1960. She married Danny Maxwell on October 23, 1992 in Bad Axe.

She was a member of Elkton United Methodist Church and a former Brownie and Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. Margie will be remembered for her quick wit and humor.

Margie is survived by her husband Danny; children Connie (Roger) Dubs of Pigeon, Scot (Virginia) Buschlen of Owendale, Kathy (Nick Pavlichek) Muether of Pigeon, Jodie LaLonde of Linwood, Joell (Eric) Wissner of Pigeon and Jennifer (Joe) Schumacher of Pigeon; grandchildren Kyle (Madison) Dubs, Kevin Dubs, Dana Buschlen, Bryan Buschlen, Sarah (Dustin) Muether, Michael Muether, Noah LaLonde, Allie LaLonde, Ayden LaLonde, Cory Ornowski, Brennan Wissner and Ethan Wissner; two great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law Jerry (Gail) Maxwell, Carl (Phyllis) Maxwell and Ken Engelhardt; sisters-in-law Evelyn (Randy) Fritz, Nancy (Ray) Raythatha and Donna Fritz. She was preceded in death by her son Brian Buschlen, brother Robert Fritz, sister-in-law Connie Engelhardt.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, September 13th at the Elkton United Methodist Church with Rev. Won Kim officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon to 6:00pm Sunday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon.
