Margo (Flodquist) Spondike, 82, of Caseville, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Home Sweet Home in Pigeon of complications from a recent fall.

Margo was born February 2, 1930 in Highland Park to the late Leonard and Ethel (Rothwell) Stringfellow. She graduated from Royal Oak High School in 1948. Margo married Gerald (Jer) Spondike on June 2, 1980 in Royal Oak. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2007.

Margo and her husband Jer were weekend residents of Caseville until they realized their dream and moved there full time when they both retired from Howard and Smith in 1999. Both were active in the community, enjoyed fishing, riding snow mobiles, maintaining their beautiful gardens and spending time with their beloved dog Mandy.

Margo is survived by her three daughters by her former husband, Karen Steward (Martha), Beth Anne Rowe (Robert) and Lynn Mari Flodquist-Strayer (Brian) all of California; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a sister Sylvia (Don) Bruton.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, July 7th at the Caseville United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Township Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Jonathon Bibby, James Childs, Tim Cruse and Dustin Saalman.

Visitation will be 3 to 6 pm Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville.
