Mari Sue Einhardt, age 51 of Pigeon, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.
Born in Pigeon on September 21, 1960, she was the daughter of Carl and Frances (Davis) Einhardt, and attended Laker High School. Mari worked for years as a babysitter for many area children, and often offered pizza parties for the neighborhood. She was a happy person, with a very positive attitude, and was affectionately referred to as "Darl'n". She enjoyed her pets, often calling them her babies.
Mari is survived by her mother and stepfather, Frances and Don Rose of Pinconning; her siblings, Linda and J.C. Dufty of Caseville, Steven and Wendy Einhardt of Sebewaing, Sheri and Tim Rugg of Nashville, Sandra and Denny Bailey of Pigeon, Dana and Al Niebel of Owendale, and David and Corin Einhardt of Vassar; several nieces and nephews; many friends; and all of the many children that she babysat for over the years. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl; a nephew, Kevin Bucholz; and a niece, Teresa Bucholz.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pigeon, with Rev. James A. Gorsegner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or the family.
