Marie Evelyn Beck

Marie Evelyn Beck of Caro, age 74 passed away at her home on Thursday, November 2, 2023 with her family by her side. Marie was born July 19, 1949 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Marshall) Beck. She graduated from high school, attended college, and went on to work at Plastech Manufacturing. Marie enjoyed crafting, perusing the web, and watching old westerns. She was very detailed oriented and could tell you everything about the books she read. Marie was often seen riding around on her amigo, visiting with her friends. She absolutely adored her cats and spending time with her family.

Marie leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters, Bernice McNeal of Bakersville, California and Linda Alexander of Dothan, Alabama; nephew, Matthew Alexander; godson & his wife, James Roy &  Jonie Woodley, Jr.; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her siblings, Marsha and Thomas “Griz.”

In keeping with Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
