Marie H. Buschlen

Marie H. Buschlen, 97, of Pigeon, died Monday, February 19, 2018 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Marie was born August 13, 1920 in Winsor Twp to the late Claude and Edna (Wurtz) Moore.  She graduated from Pigeon High School in 1938.  She married Glenn W. Buschlen on September 14, 1940 in Owendale; he preceded her in death May 20, 2002.

Marie was a homemaker who enjoyed working on the family farm and gardening.  She was a lifelong member of the Salem United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children Eleanor Adams (Larry Loll) of Bay City, Ruth A. Cresswell of Charlevoix and Roger (Sally) of Pigeon; grandchildren Michelle, Stacey, Michael, Marc, Connie, Scot, Kathy, Lisa, Brenda and Heather; and 19 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by sons Richard and Gary; grandson Brian; brother John Moore and sisters Lila Heck and Helen Delsi.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, February 24 ^th at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. David K. Stewart Sr. officiating.  Burial will be in Grandlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton.  Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church.
