Marie “Bingo” Korman age 79, of Caseville died Friday evening, November 1, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw.
She was born October 31, 1923, in Detroit to the late William and Lena (Ashwood) Priebe.
On July 2, 1981 she was united in marriage to Joseph Korman in Warren. They made their home in the Detroit area until her husband retired in 1982. At that time they moved to their home in Lake Twp. near Sleeper State Park.
She was a very active member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary where she was affectionately known as “Bingo” because of her love of the game.
Surviving are her husband, Joe; her daughter, Diane Shawber of Crestline, OH; three grandchildren, Wendy (Tim) Johnson; Robert and Benjamin; a great granddaughter, Jessica and four sisters, Jeanette and Norma Priebe of Detroit, Helen Fulkerton of Hazel Park and Margaret (Darrell Wilson of Butler, IN. Preceding her in death was a son, Donald; a daughter, Beverly and two brothers, Charles and William Priebe.
A memorial service will be conducted 12:30 PM Tuesday, November 5, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Caseville where the family will receive friends after 11:00 AM Tuesday.
