Marie E. Lupp

Marie E. Lupp, age 85, of Sebewaing, passed away December 23, 2017, at Brian's House in Essexville.

Marie was born February 3, 1932, in Sebewaing, to Otto and Flora (Ziegler) Kunisch. After high school, she married Samuel Lupp. He preceded her in death in 2004. Marie was a licensed Cosmetologist and owned a salon called Please-N-Pamper. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, watching the Detroit Tigers, bowling in the senior league, dancing, playing in the community band, baking coffee cake for family and friends, going fishing with Sam, and most of all being with family. She was a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing.

Marie is survived by her children: Marshall (Kathy) Lupp of Essexville, Christine (Fred) Licht of Sebewaing, Jackie (Paul) Freiburger of Sebewaing, and Gregory Lupp of Sebewaing; sister, Alice Draschil of Pigeon; grandchildren: Zachary Lupp, Megan Lupp, Marissa Lupp, Jeff Lenhard, Brandon Lupp, Jeremy Lupp, and Janelle Estell; great grandchildren: Taylor, Ashlee, Jeana, Sydney, Sawyer, Ezra and Lily.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Sam; and 2 brothers: Roland Kunisch and Elmer Kunisch.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorial donations may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Brian's House.
