Marion Virginia Luscomb

Marion Virginia Luscomb of Lapeer , age 87, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at McLaren - Lapeer Region Hospital. Marion was born October 7, 1930 in Mayville, the daughter of the late Laverne and Mable (Jaques) Garner. She attended Mayville Public schools and worked for twenty-five years at Interstate in Romeo and eleven years at Auget in Chesterfield. She was a lifetime member of the Mayville VFW Post #10884 Auxiliary, and had lived in Romeo for fifty-two years. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Marilyn & Craig Bardill of Harrison Township, David & Sandy Luscomb of Englewood, Florida, Allan & Gail Luscomb of Attica, Raelynn & Leonard Thiel of Goodrich, Charlene & Jerry Macuga of New Baltimore; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Vandemark of Unionville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marion was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Thomas Watson; four sisters, Marie Esckelson, Theresa Gleason, Alice Derdon and Grace Wells; and one brother, Robert Garner. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Jerzy Dobosz officiating. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Marion V.
