Marjorie Ann Campbell

Marjorie Ann Campbell, 88, of Bad Axe, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 1, 2025, with family by her side.

Marjorie was born September 21, 1936 in Elkton to the late Arthur Sheridan Seley and Agnes “Carrie” (Holtz) Seley. Marjorie was united in marriage with Arnold "Wayne" Campbell on June 15, 1953; he preceded her in death on April 25, 2012.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and pets. Holding her grand babies - great, great-grand babies was always a joy. Whether it be dogs, cats, bunnies, or birds; pets were a huge part of her life. While whistling and raising eight children, Marjorie kept busy making others laugh with her quick wit. Having gardens, both flower and vegetable; baking, cooking, sewing, reading, eating chocolate, and attending church were some of her favorite things. Marjorie held a variety of positions throughout the years, such as school bus driver, deli employee, library assistant, and some may say, she was the best secretary our dad ever had. She was a loyal, loving member of Victory In Christ Community Church in Bad Axe for decades.

Marjorie is survived by her children Curtis Campbell of Pinnebog; Jeffrey Campbell of Bad Axe, Julie (David) Roberts of Kinde, Scott (Cindy) Campbell of Kinde, Lisa (Larry) Dorsch of Bad Axe, Devin (Vicki) Campbell of North Branch, Deana (Larry Warnack) Campbell of Allenton; grandchildren John (Cate) Ramsey, Autumn Shong, Fawn Campbell, Randy (Kealee) Armstead, Lisa (Jason) Sambueso, Joshua (Camry Danielle) Campbell, William “Nick” (Julie) Checkley, Michael (Rana) Metz, William "Bill" (Tonya) Smith, Curtis II (Megan) Campbell, Robert, Nathan (Kayla), Gabriel (Leann), Seth, Cari (Chris) Prill, Theresa (Ryan) Genis, Melissa (Carlos) Subira-Roberts, David M (Ashley) Roberts, Wayne Roberts, Ryan Roberts (fiancee Rose), Matthew Roberts (MaKenna Haag), Jessica (Drew) Galleck, Brian Dorsch, Adam (Cara) Dorsch, Jordan (Sharnesha) Dorsch, Brett Campbell, Alex Campbell, Amanda Smith, and Courtney Chase.

Marjorie has had the blessing of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Marjorie, and her precious smile will be greatly missed.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her son Kim and siblings:  Genevieve (Maurice) Faupel, Leonard (Ermythe) Seley, Audrey (Glen) Bouck, Madalyn (Clayton) Krause, and Willard "Bill" (Marjorie) Seley.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, February 6th at Victory In Christ Community Church with Pastor Penny Errer officiating.  Burial will be in Colfax Twp Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3-7pm Wednesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
