Mark A. Chandler, age 39, died Tuesday morning, December 28, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon from a possible massive heart attack.
He was born January 24, 1971 in Pigeon to Charlene (Sprague) Chandler Alexander and the late Glenn Chandler.
Mark was a 1989 graduate of Laker High School and has lived in the Bay Port area most of his life. He was employed at S & S Tube in Bay Port while in high school, leaving for a time and returning, having over 18 years with them.
Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, motocross racing, hunting, an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and devoted father.
Surviving are his fiancée, Kristin Kolar of Bay Port; three children, Tyler, Mackenzie and Izzy; his mother, Charlene (Greg) Alexander of Bay Port; his brother, Gary (Marcie) Chandler and their children, Jared, Morgan and Chloe of Bad Axe; maternal grandfather, Russel Sprague of Bay Port; uncles, Dennis (Vicky) Chandler of Pigeon, Robert (Sara) Sprague and Gary Sprague of Bay Port. Preceding him in death was his grandparents, Helen Sprague and, Laverne and Joyce Chandler.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, December 31, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 2 to 8 PM Thursday and after 10 AM Friday.
