Mark T Dubs age 49, of Elkton, died Thursday evening, January 14, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon after suffering a probable heart attack.
He was born September 2, 1966 in Pigeon to Walter and Connie (Williams) Dubs and grew up on a farm south of Elkton. Mark was a 1985 graduate of Laker High School. He went on college to further his education receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University.
Mark had worked at Huron Tool in Bad Axe, prior to becoming a driver for J. B. Hunt Trucking. In 2004, he took a position at Hunter Lumber in Harbor Beach where he was currently employed.
Mark was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Owendale. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on computers and campfires. He was a big Star Wars enthusiast and loved being around family and friends.
Surviving are his parents, Walter and Connie Dubs of Elkton; his loving friend, Dawn English and her children, Brandon and Randy Ricker; siblings, Michael (Cynthia) Dubs of Owendale, Kimberly (Ben) Werth of Elkton and Jennifer Dubs of Royal Oak; five nieces and nephews and one great nephew.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 PM Sunday, January 17, at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton with a short service beginning at 7 PM.
