Mark Edward Kemler

Mark E. Kemler, age 56, of Bay Port, formerly of Rochester, passed away January 31, 2017, in the comfort of his own home.

Mark was born August 11, 1960, in Pontiac, to Kenneth James Kemler and Shirley (Bailey) Kemler. He is a graduate of Rochester Adams Senior High School and attended 2 years at Oakland Community College. He was a part-time owner of Kemler Trucking in Rochester and worked for about 10 years at Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, target shooting and reloading, 4 wheeling, being outdoors, and doing a lot of back yard mechanics for friends.

Mark is survived by his dearest girlfriend of 18 years, Julia "Jules" Kieft; brother, Michael Kemler, Sr.; nephew, Michael Kemler; and Aunt, Joy (Bob) Sugden.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents.

Per Mark's request, cremation has taken place and arranged by Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
