Mark LeBlanc, age 66 years of VanGeisen Road, Caro, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper in Saginaw. He was born on December 30, 1940 in Detroit. He graduated from high school in Detroit and attended, as well as taught at, Washtenaw Community College as well as being a clinical instructor at the University of Michigan. Mark was a Licensed Respiratory Therapist and eventually came to Caro to work at Caro Community Hospital until his retirement in 1992. Mark LeBlanc and the former Sherry Kitchenmaster were united in marriage on April 19, 1986 in St. Helen. Mark was extremely proud of attaining a certificate in Bible and Practical Ministries from the Valley Bible College of Saginaw. He enjoyed doing stained glass and bible study, with a passion for God and the Word, as well as his family. He was a member of Living Waters Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Sherry LeBlanc; eight children, Tammy (Bill) McCool of Caro, Mary LeBlanc of Grand Haven, Al (Colleen) Janos of Flushing, Mark LeBlanc II of Nebraska, Matthew (Wanda) Janos of Sheridan, Stacy Janos of Deford, Laura (Chris) Girard of Grand Haven and Jamison LeBlanc of Chicago. Papa had several grandchildren and Great-Papa had four great-grandchildren. His surviving siblings are Edward (Margie) LeBlanc of Madison Heights, Margie Tack of West Branch, Margie (Ted) Babicz of Dearborn, Ralph (Shirley) LeBlanc of Plymouth, Phyllis Cirocco of Novi and Richard (Jeanette) LeBlanc of Virgina. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven infant siblings as well as Adelard LeBlanc Jr., Alice LeBlanc and Rita Connor. The funeral service will be held at Living Waters Chapel in Caro on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James Solomon officiating. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Gideons or Living Waters Chapel.
