Mark J. Wiese

Mark J. Wiese, 60, of Sebewaing, went to be with his Savior on Monday, October 10, 2011. Mark was born May 16, 1951 in Detroit to the late Martin and Darlene (Weeks) Wiese. He married Sue Blehm on April 18, 1970 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Mark was the owner and insurance agent at Thumb Insurance Group in Cass City for 23 years. He enjoyed golfing, softball, baseball, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Sebewaing Lions Club and held many positions at Immanuel Lutheran Church, including congregational president and church elder. He was a really hard worker and great provider.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sue Wiese. His loving children Mark (Kelley) Wiese and Paul (Michelle) Wiese. His grandchildren Grant, Estelle and Cole Wiese. He is the dearest brother of Matt (Kerry) Wiese, John (Kathy) Wiese, Julie (Dennis) Gottschalk, and Jill (Hal) Martin. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 1-9pm and Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 1-9pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

The funeral will be Friday, October 14, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
