Marlene Yvonne Crews

Marlene Yvonne (Wiscombe) Crews of Caseville, age 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Marlene was born on May 24, 1941, in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late Harold and Beatrice (Jenkinson) Wiscombe and was a 1959 graduate of Pontiac High School. She worked as a teller for Chase Bank, lighting up the day of countless people in the community as they went about their business at the bank. Marlene met David Crews after being set up on a blind date through one of her friends and the pair would hit it off, marrying on September 5, 1959. He is left to cherish her memory. In her free time, Marlene enjoyed listening to country music and even went to a few concerts with David. She enjoyed nature and flowers and is remembered fondly for her great cooking. Marlene traveled extensively with David, spending time exploring all around North America, as well as spending the winter months down south on South Padre Island, Texas, and Crystal River, Florida. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and treasured the time she was able to spend with her family.

Marlene is survived by her loving husband, David; children, David (Annette) Crews, Jr., Marsha Mansfield, Jefferey (Laurie) Crews, and Lee (Sylvia) Crews; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Marlene was preceded in death by her siblings, Norma Jean, Lorraine, Karen, and Don, as well as her son in law, Bill Mansfield.

In accordance with Marlene’s wishes, cremation is to take place.
