Marlie Kay Kiehl

Marlie Kay Kiehl of Caro, age 57, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at her sister's home. She was born September 11, 1958 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Harold and Iva (Krohn) Weidman. Marlie was an Akron Fairgrove High School graduate. On June 14, 1986, she was united in marriage with Charles Kiehl in Fairgrove, and he preceded her in death in 2007. She was a homemaker and very active in all activities associated with the Caro Assembly of God Church, including Sunday school teacher and children's ministry. Marlie was also a volunteer for hospice, and enjoyed playing cards and doing jigsaw puzzles. Marlie is survived by one sister, Laura Jones of Caro; one brother, Patrick Weidman of Florida; aunts and uncles, Arvilla Hobson of Marlette, Maxine & Robert Becker of Owendale; many nieces and nephews, especially Christopher and Jordan Peyerk of Owendale. In addition to her parents and husband, Marlie was preceded in death by one brother, Roger; as well as her biological mother, Bonnie Vennevy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Caro Assembly of God Church with Pastor David Dietzel officiating. Burial will follow at the Ellington Township Cemetery in Caro.
