Marquetta "Keta" Corl

Marquetta "Keta" Corl of Mayville, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper in Saginaw. Marquetta was born January 14, 1945 in Pontiac, the daughter of the late Montgomery & Marie (Strassburgh) Vanderpool. She was happiest outdoors, loved horses and tending to her flower garden. She was never afraid to take on a project and was a loving grandmother to her many grandchildren. Marquetta is survived by four children, Al Crittenden of North Carolina, Betty Jo Crittenden of Caro, David Crittenden and his wife, Jessica, of Mt. Pleasant, Josh Crittenden of Caro; two stepchildren that included Charles Crittenden and Jenny LeJeune; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marquetta was preceded in death by her son, Gordon Harvey Crittenden II. In keeping with Marquetta's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. A luncheon at the Moose Lodge in Caro will follow the gathering.
