Marsha Jane Kretzschmer

Marsha J. Kretzschmer, 69, of Bay City, formerly of Owendale, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at home.

Marsha was born October 17, 1951 in Cass City to the late Homer and Beaulah (Kain) Kretzschmer. She graduated from Owen-Gage High School in 1969 and then from Delta College.

Marsha retired from the State of Michigan Dept. of Human Services as a case worker. She was a former member of the Jaycettes and the Owendale United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and a devoted “mother” to her beloved dachshund Molly.

She is survived by her brother Alan (Brenda) of Owendale; niece Karen of Owendale and nephew Kendall of Howell; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by an infant sister Alta.

Grave side services will be 11:00am Saturday, April 3rd at Grant Twp Cemetery with committal prayers by Dave Good. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Owendale United Methodist Church.
