Martha L. Bollinger

Martha “Marty” Bollinger age 73, of Caseville died Wednesday morning, February 5, at Courtney Manor, Bad Axe following a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was born May 22, 1929 in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late Paul and Altha (Smith) Uelsmann.
On July 3, 1947, she was united in marriage to Billy Bollinger in Cape Girardeau, MO. They moved to Michigan near Detroit in 1968.
After raising her family Marty was employed as a secretary at Gemco in Clawson for 10 years retiring in 1987. In 1989 they moved to Caseville from Royal Oak.
She was a member of the Caseville Eagle Auxiliary where she served on the Ritual Team for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Bill; two children, Alta (Rusty) Paul of Woodland Park, CO and Mark Bollinger of Sylvan Lake; her granddaughter, Mst. Sgt. Andrea Paul, US Air Force, stationed in Germany.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time.
