Martha Mckaye

Martha D. McKaye, age 77, of Caro passed away on Monday, February 23, 2009 at Covenant-Cooper in Saginaw. She was born on July 14, 1931 in Royal Oak where she graduated from high school. The former Martha Smith married George McKaye on October 5, 1974 in Troy. Following retirement in 1989, the McKayes moved to their hobby farm just outside of Caro. She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. Martha enjoyed the out-of-doors and the wildlife around their home. She is survived by her husband, George McKaye of Caro; two sons, Robert (Arlene) Clayton and Timothy (Brenda) Clayton, all of Longmont, Colorado; two step-children, Timothy Allen McKaye of Clarksville, Tennessee and Jeffrey Charles McKaye of Birmingham; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings. In accordance with Marthas wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family observance will be held. There will be no visitation or service at the Collon Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to charity of the donors choice.
