Marvin Kramer

Marvin Kramer, age 74 years, of Caro, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2008 in Caro. He was born on November 22, 1933, in rural Unionville to the late Latimer and Esther (Blakely) Kramer. Marvin was a lifelong resident of Tuscola County. He graduated from Unionville High School, and then served in the U.S. Army. On September 4, 1954, Marvin married the former Irene Jacoby, and she preceded him on August 24, 2000. He was employed as a truck driver at AC Sparkplug until his retirement. During his early years, Marvin enjoyed bowling and card playing with his wife. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Scott) Toyzan of Bay City and Lori (Gary) Libka of Mayville; five grandchildren, Joel and Evan Toyzan as well as Kristen, John and Natalie Libka; his brother, Eugene (Joye) Kramer of Essexville, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the remainder of his siblings, Duane Kramer and Noreen Kramer. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Arnold Burger officiating. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Juniata Christian School.
