January 12, 1943 — December 15, 2023

Germfask

Marvin Lee Yenglin, 80, of Germfask, Michigan, formerly of Pigeon, passed away Friday December 15, 2023.

Marvin was born January 12, 1943 in Dallas, Oregon to the late Marvin Glen and Josephine (Brill) Yenglin.  Marvin graduated from Laker High School and served our country in the Army as a medic receiving an honorable discharge.  He retired from General Motors after 30 years of impeccable service. A generous and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who unselfishly made time to spend with his family.  He enjoyed the Upper Peninsula woods with hunting, and tooling around to discover "treasures" with his metal detector.  He never turned down an opportunity to play cards with friends or family.  He was also an avid historian for the Yenglin ancestry.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Vivian, Doris, and Elaine; and son John.

We as Yenglins carry on to honor him are his wife Suzie; brother Neil; children Brian (Patricia) Yenglin, Alan D. (Lisa) Yenglin, and Kayla (Terrence) Wainwright; grandchildren Ashlee Camehl, Steven Yenglin, Callista Richardson, Austin (Maegan)Yenglin, Dylan Yenglin, Brett Yenglin, Kristopher Yenglin, and Karmel Wainwright; great-grandchildren Ellie Yenglin, Layla Richardson, Daxton Yenglin, Colson James Yenglin, and Archer Yenglin.

Private graveside services will take place at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Pigeon.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
