Mary Ann Currey

Mary Ann Currey of Unionville, age 86, passed from this life into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Mary Ann was born on November 6, 1939, to the late Homer and Leona (Hoppe) King. She married Donald Currey on November 14, 1959. He preceded her in death. Mary Ann worked on the family’s dairy farm until 1992 when she went to work at Walmart in Caro, retiring after 18 years there. In her free time, Mary Ann loved playing cards, especially Euchre, and enjoyed time spent outdoors in nature hunting and fishing.

Mary Ann is survived by children, Kenneth Currey, Susan Redfield, and Karen Peters; and grandchildren, Rose Currey, Justin Wolf, Stephany Lord, Brooke Wolf, Kelsey Peters, and Peyton Peters; as well as 7 great grandchildren.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Currey, and brother, Earl King.

A funeral for Mary Ann will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6356 Center St, Unionville, MI, with Rev. Steve Stolarczyk officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service, with a committal to follow at Columbia Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
