Mary Ashley

Mary S. Ashley, age 88, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Caro Community Hospital. Mary was born May 3, 1919 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Charles Patrick & Mary Louise (Maloney) Skelly. She was employed for thirty years by the company currently known as Unisys in Detroit. While working for Unisys, Mary lived near her son and daughter-in-law in the Detroit area. She later moved with them to Deming, New Mexico and finally to Caro in 2005. Mary was of the Catholic faith, was an avid reader and enjoyed Egyptian history. Surviving are one son and his wife, Chuck & Gloria Ashley of Caro; six grandsons, Charles, John, Donald, Eric, Christopher and Randy; two great-grandsons, Brett and Jon; three great-granddaughters, Oschiah, Heather and Sara; and one great-great-grandson, Cameron.
