Mary Jane Marcella Aumock, age 86, of Unionville, passed away Thursday morning, December 31, 2015.
Mary was born in Grand Haven to the late Rocco and Anna (Lange) Lask on January 3, 1929. On December 18, 1948, she married Reginald Aumock. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1997. She enjoyed gardening, wintering in California, where she was a member of the Red Hatters, was a member of the Gateway American Legion Auxiliary Post # 421 in Unionville, and worked for General Cable in Cass City for 18 years.
Mary is survived by her children: Raymond (Pamela Aumock of Unionville, William (Janice) Aumock of Unionville, Rosemarie (James) Wurm of Unionville, Regina (Duane) Seibel of Gagetown, Roland (Jo Ann) Aumock of Burnsville, MN, Marcey (Ed) Robinet of Saginaw and Anna (Wayne) Fritz of Sebewaing; siblings: Shirley Showler, Frank Lask and John Lask; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Reginald; and brother, William Lask.
A memorial visitation and service will be held on January 9, 2016 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 12 noon.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Gateway American Legion Post # 421 in Unionville.
