Mary Katherine Ban

Mary Katherine Ban, 43, of Caseville, passed away December 26, 2024 as a result of injuries from an automobile accident.

Mary was born January 2, 1981 in Detroit.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1999.  Mary was a bartender at Hamlin Pub in Chesterfield Twp and Riverside Bar in Caseville.  Mary lived every day like it was her last, filled with more passion than logic.  She was the life of the party, an enthusiastic Detroit sports fan, strong willed, and devoted to her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her daughter Isabella Pluszczynski of Clinton Twp; mother and father Paul and Rita D. Ban of Caseville; siblings Jennifer (Christopher) Valinski, Laura (Tony) Gladys, Paul Ban III, Matthew (Julie Mosurak) Ban, Ann (Jonathan) Patterson, Denise (Erick) Heigl, Rita L. Ban, and Christina (Steve) Hill; her faithful chihuahua Teddy; her companion Joe Markulicz; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be in the summer of 2025.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
