Mary Bauman

Mary Isabelle (Putman) Bauman, age 87 years, of Caro, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. She was born on December 4, 1920 in Caro to the late Lloyd and Catherine (Quinn) Putman. Mary lived most of her life in Caro and was a Caro High School graduate. She had been employed as an attendant nurse at the Caro Regional Center until her retirement. She attended the Caro United Methodist Church and was a member of the Ladies of the Moose. Mary had been a bow and arrow hunter and competitor. She also enjoyed horseshoes and drawing. She is survived by one daughter and one son, Pia Arthur of East Lansing and Thomas (Robin) Arthur of Millington; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and her special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, William G. Arthur III and Janet DeCoe; one grandchild, Robbie DeCoe; and her siblings, Roberta Goodman, Jean Stein, William Putman and Patrick Putman. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Almer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility
