Mary E. "Betty" Bach

Mary E. “Betty” Bach age 88, of Sand Point died Thursday morning, March 18, at he home while under hospice care.
She was born October 20, 1915 in Bad Axe to the late Warren and Mary (Sturtridge) Slack and lived in Huron County all her life.
On August 18, 1942, she was united in marriage to Arthur M. Bach in Duluth, MN. (Mr. Bach was the circuit court judge in Huron County many years.)
She was a long time member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Sand Point.
Surviving are two daughters, Judith (Michael) Dixon of DeWitt and JoAnn (Robert) Mills of Lansing; a grandson, Timothy Dixon of East Lansing and her sister, Nancy (Paul) Kruger of Watertown, Mass. Preceding her in death was her step-mother, Gladys Slack.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, March 21, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Rev. Raymond Orth will officiate with burial in Caseville Twp. Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Caseville from 3 to 6 PM Saturday and at the church after 12 on Sunday.
Memorial may be given to Scheurer Hospital or the church.
