Mary L. Bronson, age 72 of Bay Port, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital.
Born in Clawson on April 17, 1943, she was the daughter of Hurley and Mildred (Bachert) Bowlby, and graduated from Clawson High School.
On September 13, 1985, she and Ralph D. Bronson were united in marriage in Caseville. He survives her.
Mary retired as office manager at Burroughs Materials-Wallace Stone Quarry, in Bay Port. She enjoyed collecting dolls, and shopping was one of her favorite pastimes. Mary and Ralph enjoyed traveling; her "bucket list" dream was a trip to Colorado. Mary loved her grandchildren, and spoiling them the best she could. She was an awesome cook, preparing huge meals for many special family events.
She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Berne.
In addition to her husband, Ralph, of Bay Port, she is survived by a son, Ronnie (Julie) Aldridge of Pigeon; daughter, Erin Bronson of Durand; five grandchildren: Matthew, Cory (Ashley), Dylan, Kayla, and Marissa; two great-grandsons, Carter and Jack; sister, Sharon (John) Walker of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son Matthew, and son Scott; stepson Chad; four sisters; and two brothers.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, with Rev. James A. Gorsegner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.

Tuesday, March 29 2:30 - 8 p.m.
AND AT ST. JOHN'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, BERNE (PIGEON):
Wednesday, March 30 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.
