Mary Ann Brown

MaryAnn Brown, age 69, of Caro passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. She was born on May 31, 1941 in Caro, and was raised by Russell and Mary Lassiter. MaryAnn was a 1959 Caro High School graduate, and attended Saginaw Valley State University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree. Throughout the years, she was employed in clerical and retail positions throughout Caro. MaryAnn loved reading, crosswords, knitting, listening to music, and playing cards. She is survived by three daughters, Wendy (Dave) Jacot of Caro, Veronica (Bruce) Bridson of St. Helen, Rebecca Brown of Saginaw; four grandchildren, Samantha Terry of Marquette, Allison Bridson of St. Helen, Matthew Jacot of Caro and Steven Jacot of Caro; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Bob Lokken; and one sister, Linda Anderson. A funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Chris Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Almer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the MaryAnn Brown family discretionary fund, c/o Wendy Jacot, 302 S.
